Welcome! My name is Rich, "The Louisiana Hobby Guy" I'm from a small town just outside New Orleans, LA. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and creating things. I have over 25+ years of software experience from both college and my career, and I also minored in graphic design in college, so I look forward to sharing software guides, my videos and my unique graphics with my supporters! I am in need of some help / guidance. I am trying to engrave an image on a tumbler, and i t engraves but is missing detail. Currently it is engraving as an Image Fill on an Thunder Nova 51/130 at 350/25 and 400dpi. How do I get a more detailed image? Do I need to reduce the dpi, convert to a vector and engrave as a line not image? I am currently using the standard 2" lens with the wide nozzle, low air, and defocused at 7.5mm vs 6mm.
