What precautions should you take during SEV Laser treatment? ›

Stay out of the sun, use sunscreen, and avoid sunless tanners, self-tanning lotions, tanning beds, and tanning sprays for at least 2 weeks before and after your appointment. Your skin must be at its base color.

After your treatment, wait at least 7-10 days before shaving again.

Yes, you can get Brazilian laser hair removal even if you're on your period. Make sure to choose period care products that'll help you feel clean and comfortable during the treatment.

Do not use any products like retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or scrubs to face for 48-72 hours post-treatment. You can resume normal daily activities after each treatment, you should avoid direct sun exposure and use sunblock.

All patients should avoid direct sunlight for 4-6 weeks after surgery. Using sunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide brimmed hat are necessary. It is also important to protect your healing skin from sunlight that comes through car or office windows. Using a high quality sun screen with at least SPF 30 is recommended.
