What is the best way to epilate?

Before beginning, exfoliate the area you wish to epilate to remove dead skin cells and to ensure a thoroughly cleansed skin surface. This will decrease the risk of ingrown hairs – everyone’s hair removal nightmare!

Because some epilators can be used in wet or dry conditions, we recommend choosing an electric epilator with features such as an anti-slip grip, one that can be used easily even when you’re taking a bath or a shower. This is a special feature of the Satinelle Advanced which will allow for a gentler and more comfortable shaving experience in water. Plus, the model comes with a skin stretcher cap that helps pull the skin taut, allowing the epilator to pick up hairs more effectively. Otherwise, we recommend that you manually stretch the skin around the area you are about to epilate.

For best results, try to maintain the epilator at a 90-degree angle, moving it against the direction of hair growth. Take your time whilst epilating; the best results will be from going slowly and taking care. To soothe the skin after epilating, opt for a gel containing aloe vera, which will reduce redness as well as moisturise your newly silky-smooth skin.

How long does epilation last?

One of the best things about epilation is its long-lasting hair removal benefits. Skin will stay smooth for up to one month after epilating, and you don’t even have to wait for hair to grow to a certain length before you epilate once more! This makes it far more efficient than methods such as waxing and tweezing.

Why use the Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator

Having asked “what is epilation hair removal?” and “how does epilation work?”, let’s now talk about how to achieve the best results. Quite simply, the key to good results is owning a high-quality electric epilator. The Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator is the first of its kind to have an S-shaped handle, an ergonomic design which will leave you fully in control and able to exercise maximum precision when it comes to epilation hair removal.

Innovative features such as the Opti-light and extra wide epilator head will help target the trickiest of hairs whilst allowing for more coverage and faster epilation hair removal. The faster than ever before ceramic disc rotation (2200RPM) means speedy and effective epilation.

Whilst we all know that epilation is great for the legs, the shaving head and trimming comb included in the Satinelle Advancedallows for gentle epilation on different areas of the body. The facial area cap means that areas such as the face, bikini, and underarms can be gently and effectively targeted.
