Dreamlight is the essential currency you need to enjoy your journey in Disney Dreamlight Valley — apart from Star Coins, of course. The faster you earn Dreamlight, the more you get to enjoy unlocking new Realms and seeing your favorite characters. However, earning Dreamlight can be a time-consuming process, especially if you are unsure of what the fastest way to earn it is.

This guide will show you some of the best tips on how to quickly earn Dreamlight to enjoy all the Realms and characters you wish to see. The steps are fairly easy and simple to follow. With these in mind, you will collect lots of Dreamlight before you know it.

Earn From Dreamlight Duties

The first step you should take when hoping to earn more Dreamlight fast, is to visit the lists of Dreamlight Duties.

These tasks can be found in the Dreamlight Menu and you can always find six of the duties listed. Simple screenshots on this page may also save you a few minutes later on, whilst you go through all six of the duties.

The tasks themselves are relatively easy and fast to complete. Common duties include activities such as harvesting and selling fruits and vegetables, or finding a character you have yet to interact with today, for a daily discussion.

On average, you can earn 100 to 250 Dreamlight per task, which may seem small. However, easy tasks can be completed quickly, so having to check these duties and accumulating them frequently can earn you enough Dreamlight in a few.

Check Your Dreamlight Milestones

Another key tip to earning Dreamlight quickly is to target a more specific Milestone task section in the Dreamlight Menu.

They are listed per actions such as Foraging, Gardening, Fishing, Cooking, Collection, Friendship, Village and Mining. Within each task, there are several stages of unique activities allocated for you to complete.

Sometimes you find that you may have already begun to complete these anyway. This is due to the tasks covering a lot of the activities included in the quests.

Although the initial stage may only reward you with 50 to 100 Dreamlight, if you clear further tasks the amount of Dreamlight you can get jumps up fairly quickly.

Craft Dreamlights From Dream Shards

Dream Shards are the last possible way listed here. This also has an element of crafting, which adds a bit of fun whilst earning more Dreamlight.

Scattered around the valley, Dream Shards are a rare material that you can collect by foraging Night Thorns or finding shiny spots on the ground.

These Dream Shard crystals then can be crafted into other formats such as Dreamlight.

However, Dream Shards themselves are also required in some quests. So it is advised to always keep some spare.

With this method, you can turn ten Dream Shards into 250 Dreamlight instantly and this can be performed an unlimited amount of times as long as you have enough Dream Shards.

In order to convert them, head to a crafting bench. Dreamlight can be found under the Potion & Enchantment page.
