How long does frozen chicken go in the Instant Pot?
When figuring out how long frozen chicken needs to cook in the Instant Pot you will first need to consider the cut of your chicken.
A frozen whole chicken will take longer than frozen chicken breasts because of the thickness. You don’t want an undercooked center!
Generally speaking frozen chicken breasts will cook at high pressure in about 15 minutes – depending on thickness.
You’ll know they’re cooked when they reach an internal temperature of over 165F. Don’t forget the liquid – it’s essential to pressure cooking.
